Santa Fe Springs crash on I-5 Freeway
SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. (Feb. 19, 2021) — A multi-vehicle collision involving injuries happened Friday morning on the Interstate 5 Freeway in Santa Fe Springs.
The California Highway Patrol reported the crash in the No. 1 lane about 6:15 a.m.
A black Toyota Prius with major front-end damage was among the motorists involved. It’s unknown what led to the crash involving up to four vehicles.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent paramedics to treat anyone who was hurt in the collision, but there were no specific details provided in the CHP report.
Meanwhile, several of the cars including the Toyota and a red Volkswagen Tiguan were towed.
Furthermore, investigators are reviewing evidence to determine fault.
