Car, Farm Vehicle Crash on W. Evan Hewes Highway in Imperial County

SEELEY, Calif. (March 25, 2024) — A two-vehicle Seeley car accident happened Monday morning on West Evan Hewes Highway, just west of Bennett Road in Imperial County.

The California Highway Patrol reported a driver in a white Toyota Corolla and a farm tractor were involved in the 6:22 a.m. crash on March 25th, 2024.

The Toyota reportedly hit rear-ended the other vehicle and sustained major front-end damage.

Paramedics from the Imperial County Fire Department responded and transported two people to El Centro Regional Medical Center. Both were treated for minor injuries and or complaints of pain.

Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the Toyota from the roadway due to major damage, but it’s unknown if the tractor was towed.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault and if any citations will be filed.
