Hit-and-run Pedestrian Accident on Bancroft Drive
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (May 19, 2022) – A Spring Valley pedestrian accident happened Thursday involving a hit-and-run driver on Bancroft Drive near Rosedale Drive.
The pedestrian hit-and-run crash occurred around 3:50 a.m. on May 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
An unknown vehicle struck the unidentified victim in the 2000 block of Bancroft Drive, near Rosedale Drive, according to CHP officials.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured victim to a hospital. Authorities believe the person hurt is a homeless resident.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash. Also, police are trying to locate the suspect who fled the scene.
