Cattle Truck Overturns Onto Sedan on Waterloo
STOCKTON, Calif. (May 16, 2023) — A cattle truck overturned on top of an SUV Tuesday afternoon in a Stockton crash at Highway 88 (Waterloo Road) and North Alpine Road.
UPDATE: A woman inside the SUV reportedly died in the crash.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on state Route 88 around 11:47 a.m. on May 16th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The semi-truck crashed onto the grey Toyota SUV’s roof with at least one person inside. Paramedics responded to help those involved, but unfortunately the woman driving the SUV died from the impact.
Police were at the scene and closed down Highway 88 and Alpine Road due to the crash. Animal control also responded to handle the situation with the cattle.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Stockton crash on Waterloo Road (Highway 88).
