Multi-Vehicle Collision in Sunnyvale on Highway 101
SUNNYVALE, Calif. (May 3, 2022) — A three-vehicle Sunnyvale crash happened on the northbound Highway 101 at Mathilda Avenue North.
The crash occurred about 6:43 a.m. on May 3rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a gray Lexus, a Ford Transit van and a dark gray Nissan collided due to unknown circumstances. The van suffered major front-end damage in the collision.
Paramedics responded due to at least one person with minor injuries from the collision.
At least one tow truck responded to remove the transit van, but there are no further details.
Police are investigating the crash to determine fault for the Sunnyvale crash on Highway 101.
