Major Injury Crash on Highway 99 in Yuba City
YUBA CITY, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2022) — A two-vehicle crash on Highway 99 at the Feather River Bridge happened Tuesday morning, just south of Sacramento Avenue in Yuba City.
The collision occurred on Golden State Highway 99 about 11:39 a.m. on Oct. 11th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A red SUV and a Caltrans truck collided in the northbound lanes due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash. One person suffered major injuries including lacerations to their head and arm pain.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the highway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
