Motorcycle Crash on I-15 Freeway in Temecula
TEMECULA, Calif. (June 8, 2022) — A Temecula motorcycle accident, possibly involving a semi-truck, happened Wednesday on the Interstate 15 Freeway, just north of the Border Patrol checkpoint.
The collision occurred in the northbound lanes of the I-15 about 9:11 a.m. on June 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the motorcyclist went down in the No. 3 lane. A driver in a semi-truck was pulled over, but it’s unknown if the vehicle was involved or just a good Samaritan, the report said.
Meanwhile, the CAL Fire Riverside Fire Department sent paramedics to the scene to assist the injured motorcycle rider. There are no further details about the injured rider at this time.
Additionally, authorities called for a tow truck to remove the bike.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Temecula motorcycle accident on the Interstate 15 Freeway.
