2-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 405 Freeway in Torrance
TORRANCE, Calif. (Nov. 19, 2021) — A Torrance motorcycle accident happened on the Interstate 405 Freeway early Friday morning near Artesia Boulevard.
The traffic accident happened about 6:28 a.m. on Nov. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the motorcyclist went down in the HOV lane after a collision with a driver in a brown Hyundai Accent.

Two vehicles stopped to block the carpool lane and protect the rider from being further injured by oncoming vehicles, the CHP report said.
Meanwhile, the Torrance Fire Department responded to treat and possibly, transport the injured motorcyclist to a hospital, police said. Police did not mention the age, gender or identity of the injured rider in the report.
Tow trucks also responded to remove both the car and motorcycle from the freeway.
Finally, investigators seek to determine fault for the Torrance motorcycle accident.
