Minor Injury Collision on Highway 99 in Elverta
ELVERTA, Calif. (Oct. 7, 2021) — A two-vehicle car accident happened on Highway 99 Thursday morning in the Elverta, Sacramento County.
The collision happened about 6:20 a.m. on Oct. 7th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
The drivers of a dark gray Ford F-250 pickup truck and a dark gray sedan collided due to unknown circumstances.

Both vehicles pulled over to the center divider following the collision.
Fire officials reported one of their employees was involved in the collision, however, there are no further details.
One person suffered minor injuries and paramedics transported the person to a hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation to determine fault.
