Multi-Vehicle Union City Crash on I-880 Freeway
UNION CITY, Calif. (Feb. 9, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Union City Car Accident happened Wednesday afternoon on the northbound Interstate 880 Freeway, north of the Whipple Road off ramp.
The collision happened about 12:32 p.m. on Feb. 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported three vehicles blocked traffic lanes following the crash.
The drivers of a blue Mini Cooper and a black Subaru both suffered moderate front-end damage and the Mini also had rear-end damage.
Paramedics responded to the scene to treat and or transport those who suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the Subaru and Mini Cooper from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
