Multi-Vehicle Crash in Vacaville on the Interstate 80 Freeway
Vacaville, Calif. (August 26, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash in Vacaville happened Friday on the Interstate 80 Freeway at Cherry Glen Road.
The collision occurred about 12:57 p.m. on August 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a gray Toyota Camry, a blue Toyota Prius and a gray Mazda collided due to unknown circumstances. The Mazda reportedly had moderate, front-end damage from the crash.
The vehicles blocked the westbound Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway, police said.
At least one person suffered minor injuries in the collision, but there are no specific details. Paramedics transported the person by ambulance to a hospital in the area.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the collision.
