VALLEJO, Calif. (March 14, 2023) — A multi-vehicle Vallejo crash happened Tuesday on the eastbound Interstate 80 Freeway at the connector to the northbound State Route 29.
The collision occurred about 7:44 a.m. on March 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Ford Fusion, a white Toyota Camry, a yellow Ford Escape SUV and possibly, a semi-truck were involved.
It’s unknown what exactly led up to the Vallejo crash on the 80 Freeway at this time.
The truck was blocking the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes, while the other vehicles were in the No. 1 and No. 3 lanes, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash and tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles.
The cause of the Vallejo crash on the 80 Freeway remains under investigation to determine fault.
