3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 198 in Visalia
VISALIA, Calif. (Sept. 8, 2022) — A major-injury Visalia crash on state Route Highway 198 happened Thursday morning near Shirk Road.
The 3-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound lanes about 8:21 a.m. on Sept. 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report the drivers of a brown Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, a white Toyota Camry and a third vehicle were involved in the wreck.
The Visalia Police Department and CHP officers responded to the crash scene after someone called 911 for help.
They located one person suffering from major injuries. Paramedics transported the injured person to KD Hospital for treatment of fractured ribs and other injuries.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Visalia crash on Highway 198.
