Motorcyclist, Truck Collide at Avenue 256 and Road 140
VISALIA, Calif. (June 17, 2021) — A Visalia motorcycle, truck accident happened Thursday morning at the intersection of Avenue 256 and Road 140.
The Avenue 256 and Road 140 collision happened about 7:36 a.m. on June 17th near the Tulare County Road Maintenance Yard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP report states a white semi-truck with two trailers collided with the motorcyclist on the westbound side of the intersection. Upon impact, the rider got thrown off the bike into the roadway, police said.

Meanwhile, Tulare County fire responded to the scene to treat at least one person with minor injuries.
It’s unknown if anyone was taken to a hospital at this time. However, a tow truck removed the damaged motorcycle from the crash scene.
Investigators with the California Highway Patrol seek to determine the cause of the Visalia motorcycle truck accident as well as liability.
