Despite Downpour, 240 Walk to Remember Loved Ones and Raise Money for MADD
LONG BEACH, Calif. (Oct. 15, 2018) — Roughly 240 people raised nearly $47,000 for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) on Saturday at Rosie’s Dog Beach.
The top fundraising teams this year were: Babes Against Drunk Driving raised $5000, Ariel’s Angels $2,985 and Becky’s Wings $2,393.
Top individual fundraisers were Mandy Anderson, team captain of Becky’s Wings, with $1,367 in donations followed by Rigo Melero with $1,077 raised for Ariel’s Angeles and Pam Sevir with $739.
