Multi-Vehicle Crash on Riverside (91) Freeway
YORBA LINDA, Calif. (April 20, 2022) — A crash involving a box truck and several cars happened on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Yorba Linda.
The crash occurred about 10:10 a.m. on April 20th, just east of state Route 241, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a blue Nissan Sentra, a gray Ford Taurus and a box truck collided due to unknown circumstances in the westbound lanes of the 91 Freeway, police said.
The vehicles blocked the middle lanes of the freeway and one was facing the wrong way after the crash. A man from the Nissan suffered undisclosed injuries in the collision.
Police requested the Orange County Fire Authority respond with paramedics.
Tow trucks also responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the cause of the crash and liability.
