 2-Vehicle Plymouth Crash Shenandoah Road, Near Dickson Road

2 Injured Including CHP Patrol Officer in Traffic Accident

Plymouth, Calif. (March 8, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash happened Thursday on Shenandoah Road, west of Dickson Road in the Plymouth area of Amador County.

The traffic accident occurred at around 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 7th, according to MyMotherLode.

A female CHP officer was heading eastbound on Shenandoah Road. She was attempting to pull over a vehicle when her patrol car was broadsided by a westbound 2024 Mercedes Benz.

Both drivers were injured in the collision including the police officer and the driver of the Mercedes identified as Peter Ramirez, 46, of Fairfield.

Paramedics transported them by ambulance to the Amador County Fairgrounds. The police officer was then airlifted to Sutter Roseville Medical Center and Peter Ramirez was taken to UC Davis Medical Center.

Also, the injuries are moderate, but they are not considered to be life-threatening.

Liability for the crash on Shenandoah Road remains under investigation.

Finally, the report did not mention the reason the officer was trying to pull over the other vehicle who was not involved in the crash.
