7-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Santa Maria
SANTA MARIA, Calif. (March 8, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Santa Maria crash on Highway 101 happened Tuesday morning, just north of the East Main Street off ramp.
The collision occurred on the northbound side of the highway about 11:54 a.m. on March 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the crash involving a green Chevrolet Suburban and six other motorists.
CHP officials reported a gray SUV went off the roadway and wound up in the bushes. Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash, but there are no further details.
At least two tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles.
Investigators are working on the cause of the Santa Maria crash on Highway 101.
