Six-Vehicle Corona Car Accident on I-15 Freeway
CORONA, Calif. (April 21, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Corona car accident happened Thursday morning on the Interstate 15 Freeway, just south of Indian Truck Trail.
The collision happened 11:43 a.m. on April 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a Ford pickup truck overturned in a collision also involved a gray Toyota Corolla, a silver Hyundai Elantra, a white Honda Civic, a black BMW and one other vehicle.
The Honda suffered rear-end damage in the crash. A woman using an oxygen tank was in the Hyundai with its air bags deployed and the car was smoking, the report said. The CHP report does not mention what led up to the Corona car accident.
Paramedics with Cal Fire Riverside responded to the scene to help those injured, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
