Homeless Man Struck, Killed by Hit-and-Run Drivers in Fullerton
FULLERTON, Calif. (June 27, 2022) – A 38-year-old homeless man died early Monday morning in a Fullerton hit-and-run crash on Harbor Boulevard and Southgate Avenue.
Two cars and an SUV all struck the victim about 1:30 a.m. at the Fullerton intersection. All three of them fled the scene without stopping to help the pedestrian struck on Harbor Boulevard.

The homeless man was reportedly pushing a shopping cart in the north crosswalk in a westbound direction across Harbor Boulevard. The pedestrian was reportedly walking against a red light at the time of the crash. A southbound driver in a white Dodge Charger had the green light and struck the victim before driving away.
Next, a few seconds later, a driver in a black Jeep Wrangler struck the man a second time and fled the scene, police said.
Meanwhile, roughly two minutes later, a white Honda Civic allegedly struck the man a third time. This driver also left the scene without stopping to help the man, police said.
Finally, paramedics responded and transported the injured man to a trauma center, but he later died at the hospital.
Investigators closed down Harbor Boulevard between Orangethorpe and Knepp avenues to conduct a fatal Fullerton hit-and-run crash investigation.
