Big Rig Truck, Car Accident on Highway 86 in Brawley
BRAWLEY, Calif. (August 9, 2022) — A Brawley car accident on state Route Highway 86 happened Tuesday afternoon near Fredericks Road.
The crash occurred about 1:48 p.m. on August 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Ford Focus or Honda collided with a big rig truck at the intersection.
The Brawley Police Department responded to the scene and told CHP dispatchers there was a juvenile with a neck injury following the crash.
The 4-door car suffered front-end damage in the crash, but was on its wheels. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the two-vehicle crash, but investigators are working on the case.
