Pedestrian Accident on Cutting Boulevard in Richmond
RICHMOND, Calif. (Sept. 23, 2022) — A driver in a white truck struck a pedestrian riding a scooter in a crash on Cutting Boulevard in Richmond.
The collision occurred in a crosswalk about 8:18 a.m. on Sept. 23rd, near South 49th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Richmond Fire Department responded and located the injured pedestrian. It’s unknown at this time if they were transported to a hospital.
Also, the CHP report did not mention the victim’s age, gender or name.
Meanwhile, the driver in the white truck stopped and is believed to be cooperating with authorities.
Investigators with the Richmond Police Department continue to work on the case.
