2-Vehicle Crash on Antelope Valley Freeway in Acton
ACTON, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2021) — An Acton crash on the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway happened Wednesday morning at or near the Escondido Canyon Road off ramp.
Two drivers collided on the freeway about 5:05 a.m. on the northbound side of the 14 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the collision may have been head-on, but there are no further details.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene just south of Escondido Canyon Road. They located a man in a gray, 4-door Toyota on the side of the roadway who was unconscious and non-responsive. It’s unknown if the person was hospitalized or if any others were injured in the crash.
Meanwhile, investigators continue to investigate the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway crash to determine fault.
