VISALIA, Calif. (Oct. 20, 2022) — Adrianna Watters, 22, was arrested following a fatal hit-and-run Visalia pedestrian accident Wednesday on Mooney Boulevard at Tulare Avenue.

It happened Wednesday night before 9 p.m. on Oct. 19th at the Visalia intersection, according to a report by ABC 30 News.

The driver reportedly struck a woman as she was crossing Mooney Boulevard. The pedestrian suffered major injuries in the crash and paramedics transported her to Kaweah Delta Medical Center where she later died.

Meanwhile, Adrianna Watters left the crash scene, but later returned and cooperated with authorities. Police arrested the suspect after she turned herself in. She faces felony hit-and-run charges for the collision.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine all charges and liability.
