2-Vehicle Car Accident on State Route 16 in Plymouth
AMADOR COUNTY, Calif. (April 3, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash happened Wednesday on Highway 16 at Welsh Pond Road, just west of Plymouth in Amador County.
The collision occurred on State Route 16 at around 9:45 a.m. on April 3rd, just west of Latrobe Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Ford F-150 pickup truck and a Kia Optima were involved in the traffic accident.
Paramedics responded and located at least one person with minor injuries, but it’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital or treated only on scene.
The car had damage and the 4-wheel drive pickup truck had front-end damage. Both required a tow truck to remove them from the roadway.
Finally, the cause of the Amador County crash on Highway 16, along with liability, will be determined by CHP investigators.
