Major Injury Collision on Highway 65 at James Road
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (May 26, 2021) — A Bakersfield crash on Highway 65 Wednesday resulted in major injuries.
The multi-vehicle crash happened about 12:29 p.m. on May 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white pickup truck, a big rig truck and a black SUV were involved.

Additionally, a man in one of the vehicles had complaints of chest pain. Also, a second person was stuck in a vehicle because they were unable to open the driver’s side door.
Paramedics responded and rushed at least one person to a hospital with major injuries, however, there were no further details. Police did not release the names, ages and genders of the victims.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed two of the vehicles involved on flatbed trucks.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the Bakersfield crash on Highway 65.
