2-Vehicle Car Accident on Grimes Canyon Road or State Route 23
BARDSDALE, Calif. (March 6, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash happened Wednesday morning on Grimes Canyon Road or Highway 23 at King Canyon Road in Bardsdale, California.
The collision occurred at around 7:56 a.m. on March 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the roadway was blocked by the drivers of a white Ryder dually box truck and a white Hyundai Veloster sedan.
The Ventura County Fire Department responded to the scene. The woman driving the Hyundai reported she was injured and was transported by ambulance to a hospital for further treatment.
Tow trucks removed both the truck and the Hyundai from the roadway and the highway reopened to traffic by 8:34 a.m., police said.
