Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle on Manzanita Avenue
CARMICHAEL, Calif. (March 28, 2022) — A Carmichael pedestrian accident happened Monday morning on Manzanita Avenue.
The crash occurred about 11:08 a.m. on March 28th, just north of the intersection with Winding Way, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the pedestrian accident happened in front of a Save Mart Supermarket at 4708 Manzanita Avenue. It’s unknown if the person was in a crosswalk at the intersection with Winding Way or not.
Firefighters responded to the scene with police to help the injured person, but there are no specific details. The report did not mention the age and gender of the person hurt in the Carmichael pedestrian accident.
Meanwhile, there are no details about the motorist involved in the CHP dispatch.
Investigators are piecing together evidence and witness statements to determine fault for the crash.
