Christopher Garner Fatal Motorcycle Accident Manning Avenue, Fresno County

Man, 35, Identified as Motorcyclist Killed in Crash

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (March 8, 2024) — Christopher Garner, 35, or Fresno, died in a motorcycle accident early Thursday at East Manning Avenue and South De Wolf Avenue south of Fowler in Fresno County.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene at around 4:40 a.m. and located a 35-year-old man who was thrown off his black 2007 Honda CBR 600rr motorcycle and lying on the shoulder of the roadway.

Paramedics from CAL Fire responded and provided CPR to the victim before they transported the injured rider to Community Regional Medical Center, the CHP report said. Unfortunately, the Fresno man later died at the hospital.

CHP officials reported Christopher Garner was traveling westbound Manning Avenue and collided into the back of another vehicle. It’s unknown if the driver crossed into the path of the motorcyclist prior to the collision.

The other motorist failed to stop and left the scene of the deadly crash.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the suspect, should contact the CHP at 559-262-0400.
