Woman, 39, Killed in Crash is Identified
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (March 18, 2024) — Eslyn Vazquez, 39, was struck by a vehicle and killed in a pedestrian accident Saturday night on Amargosa Road in Victorville.
The collision occurred at around 7:30 pm, on March 9th, near Eucalyptus Street in Victorville, according to Victor Valley News Group.
The Victorville Police and Victorville City Fire departments responded to the scene and located the pedestrian who died at the scene.
Detectives are investigating the crash and believe the woman may have been walking in the middle of the roadway on the southbound side Amargosa Road. Meanwhile, a second motorist also ran over the victim already down in the road.
Both drivers were interviewed by police as part of the investigation.
Also, police closed down Amargosa Road for several hours.
