2 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash, SR 160
Hood, Calif. (July 5, 2023) — A fatal car accident occurred Saturday morning on River Road near State Route 160 highway, in Hood California.
The collision occurred about 7:37 a.m. on July 1st, along SR 160 according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
River Road Car Accident
A brown Ford pickup truck and a blue Ford pickup truck collided resulting in the crash becoming a major traffic hazard along the SR 160 and River Road. One of the people involved in the collision was reported unconscious. The paramedics along with a helicopter were requested for this accident. The coroner was soon called meaning someone involved in the crash had sadly passed away.
Tow trucks arrived on the scene to clear up the lanes that were blocked due to the accident and to remove the damaged vehicles.
Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault for the car accident on River Road.
