Pedestrian Killed in Long Beach Hit-And-Run; Suspect Sought

 Fatal Long Beach Pedestrian Accident PCH, Harbor AvenueLONG BEACH, Calif. (April 21) – A fatal, hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) Wednesday night left a woman dead near Harbor Avenue.

The hit-and-run collision occurred about 11:35 p.m. on April 20th, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The LBPD is now seeking the public’s help to find the motorist.

A driver struck the woman in the roadway and she died at the scene, the Long Beach Police Department reported. However, it’s unknown what led up to the fatal pedestrian accident on PCH.

Authorities report the suspect vehicle was located nearby on Santa Fe Avenue. Police did not provide any further details about the vehicle.

Additionally, there is no description of the suspect at this time.

Investigators are working on the case and hope to locate the suspect.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will identify the woman who died on their website after notifying her next of kin.
