One Killed, Three Injured in Crash on Highway 33 Near Ojai
VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (March 18, 2024) — A fatal car versus motorcycle accident happened Sunday afternoon on Highway 33, just north of Ojai in Ventura County.
The deadly crash occurred at around 12:18 p.m. on March 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the two vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances and the car went off the road and down a steep embankment.
CHP officers and the Ventura County Fire Department responded to the collision on Highway 33 near the Potrero John Trail.
Three people reportedly exited the car and were treated for minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the man riding the motorcycle was located on the side of the roadway, but unfortunately died at the scene.
The cause of the fatal Ojai motorcycle accident on Highway 33, as well as liability, will be determined after investigators conclude their work on the case.
