2 Pickup Trucks Overturn on Highway 101

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (March 1, 2024) — Two pickup trucks overturned in a Gaviota crash on Highway 101, just north of Mariposa Reina.

The traffic accident occurred at around 6:23 a.m. on March 1, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a white Dodge pickup truck and a gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck were involved and both overturned onto their roofs. The white truck was in the No. 2 lane and the gray one was on the right shoulder.

Meanwhile, firefighters and paramedics responded to help anyone trapped or injured in the crash on Highway 101 in Gaviota.

Finally, the case remains under investigation to determine fault.
