Motorcycle Accident Ventura 134 Freeway in North Hollywood

Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on SR-134, Near Lankershim Boulevard

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (April 17, 2024) — A motorcycle versus pickup truck accident happened Wednesday on the westbound Ventura 134 Freeway, just east of Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood.

The hit-and-run crash occurred at around 11:44 a.m. on April 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the white Chevrolet pickup truck and motorcyclist collided near the HOV and No. 1 lanes due to unknown circumstances. The rider went down in traffic lanes, but the pickup truck driver fled the scene and exited on Cahuenga Boulevard, police said.

Meanwhile, some good Samaritans stopped to help the injured rider who possibly broke his arm in the crash.

Paramedics responded to transport the motorcyclist to a hospital and a flatbed tow truck removed the damaged motorcycle from the Ventura 134 Freeway.

Finally, the Los Angeles Police Department was notified and is on the lookout for the suspect’s white Chevrolet pickup truck.
