Major Injury Crash in Newman on Stuhr Road
NEWMAN, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2022) — Three people are hurt after a Newman head-on crash on Tuesday morning on West Stuhr Road, just west of Jorgensen Road.
The collision happened about 6:14 a.m. on Feb. 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials responded to the scene of the collision between two motorists. They located two people trapped in a vehicle following the crash. The dispatch report stated “no one moving in the vehicles.”
Paramedics and firefighters responded and confirmed two people were pinned in a vehicle with major injuries. Also, a third person was ejected from a vehicle.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the injured by ambulance to a local hospital. .
Tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles and the roadway reopened to traffic about 8:05 a.m. this morning.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine liability for the Newman crash on Stuhr Road. Witnesses may contact the CHP directly.
