Collision on I-405 Freeway in Sherman Oaks
SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (March 2, 2022) — A two-vehicle Sherman Oaks crash on the Interstate 405 Freeway happened Wednesday morning near Sepulveda Boulevard.
The crash happened about 5:31 a.m. on March 2nd between a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and a van or SUV, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded and told CHP dispatch that one person required transport to a hospital. The report does not state if the injuries are serious.
The CHP reported the vehicles blocked the middle lanes of the San Diego (405) Freeway. It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time between the two motorists. Meanwhile, both vehicles required tow trucks to remove them from the scene. Also, police issued a SigAlert due to resulting traffic from the collision.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Sherman Oaks crash.
