2-Vehicle Car Accident on Waterloo Road, State Route 88
STOCKTON, Calif. (March 27, 2024) — The drivers of a pickup truck and an SUV were involved in a crash on State Route Highway 88 also known as Waterloo Road in Stockton.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at around 6:41 a.m. on March 27th, at East Comstock Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a Ford pickup and a Chevrolet Suburban SUV were blocking the eastbound and westbound lanes of SR-88 and at least one person had major injuries.
Paramedics responded and transported one person to a hospital with major injuries. The report also stated the driver of the Suburban had complaints of neck pain and a head injury.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Stockton crash on Highway 88 also known as Waterloo Road.
