Five Hurt in Bus Crash in Van Nuys
VAN NUYS, Calif. (Oct. 8, 2021) – A Van Nuys Metro bus crash happened Friday afternoon at Kester Avenue and Oxnard Street.
A Metro G Line Bus collided with a passenger vehicle on Friday, Oct. 8th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Authorities have not disclosed what led up to the collision at the Van Nuys intersection.
Five people suffered minor injuries in the two-vehicle collision, authorities said.
Van Nuys Bus Accident Kester Avenue
Paramedics responded to the 6000 block of North Kester Avenue about 12:15 p.m.
Additionally, they transported three of the five injured people to a hospital for treatment, the Los Angeles Fire Department said. Officials did not mention the age and or gender of those hurt in the accident.
Meanwhile, the circumstances of the Van Nuys Metro bus crash remain under investigation. Witnesses may contact the LAPD.
